Single Button Civ
A downloadable game for Windows
Single Button Civ was built as part of a Game Design challenge to create 10 game prototypes in 20 weeks. Each game was given a theme and the theme of this was "One Button Game."
In Single Button Civ, your goal is to build cities in the most advantageous spot. Cities built next to each other will automatically trade resources (for better or for worse) with cities with the higher amount of a resource trading to ones with lower amounts. In exchange for the trade, you receive Culture Points. Whoever has the most Culture Points at the end of the game.
How to play
Select spot: Click
**You'll note this game defaults to multiple players for a couch co-op style game game, make sure to hit "End Turn" after each city is placed to calculate scores**
Notes
This goal of this was to create a game concept with just a single input. My thought process was to take a highly complex genre (4X strategy games) and reduce it to a single button and to explore the outcome.
